Name That Book, Episode 23

Name that Book is a (not so) biweekly game where you get to guess a book title from the photo clues.  Occasionally I offer prizes for those who guess right!

Back from an overly-long hiatus (and probably still not regularly returning), I bring you another episode of Name That Book!  This time, I'm focusing in middle grade books, to help celebrate March of Middle Grade Books over at The Owl.  Leave your guesses in the comments!

Book 1:

Book 2:

If you buy through my Amazon linkage, I will get a very small percentage

  1. Second one's easy cause it's a favorite ... The Wednesday Wars (Gary Schmidt). First one ... I'm still thinking. :/

    1. Good guess! I thought the first one would be easier, but it might be my pretty poor drawing skills on the stick figure :)

  2. Ooh, is the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid? I only know a few middle grade books, and that's one of them. :)

  3. I love your Name that Book features! I teach middle school students (6th graders) and our next blog post will be a Name that Book feature they model after your posts!!! Thanks for the creative ideas! As for my guesse, I am pretty confident that #2 is Wednesday Wars (a personal favorite) and I agree with Kathy that it might be Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
