Book Review: Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

Breaking Dawnis the final installment in the Twilight series. Bella and Edward reach the climax of their relationship and manage to get married despite numerous setbacks. They also must come face to face with the Volturi who come misinformed and angry.

Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, Book 4)
Yeah, so lots of controversy over this title. I thought it was pretty well done. Bella does change a lot in this book, but I don't think it is inconceivable the way she does. I really liked how Meyer took what everyone thought was going to be the main plot and threw in something she (and I) thought was more important. Not great and glorious and perfect literature, but an exciting and interesting and even satisfying (to me) ending. (I still think they very best book in the series was the first. The second one was ok, the third I didn't like much. Then this one which is pretty good.)

RATINGS:

Some language, not a lot.

They are married. It is mentioned a lot, though fortunately not described.

v-factor: ->
Surprising little for such a built-up book. A pretty intense scene or two.

Overall rating: ****
