Peter and the Secret of Rundoon
is the final installment of the pre-Peter Pan story. In this book, Peter, Molly and the other star catchers must prevent the evil Others from obtaining enough star stuff to essentially unravel the universe.

As with the previous two
books, this one is filled to overflowing with adventure after adventure. So many that the convoluted plot seems too much to even follow it. Despite how fun each episode seems, it just drags on and one begins to wish it was just over already.

Peter and the Shadow Thieves
is the second book that describes the back story of Peter Pan (see the third book review here). It follows Peter's adventures with Molly while dealing with the very frightening creatures, shadow thieves, that are trying to get the powerful star stuff.

I think the story is fun and I love the idea of expanding on Peter Pan's history, but I found that the book was just too long. The adventure parts were exciting and quite interesting, but it just seems to go on and on, the ending simply being prolonged for no real reason. I think it could have used some good cutting and then would have been much better (and thus more accessible).

Maybe a few scattered words (pirates!)

Some action sequences, and the shadow thieves are pretty frightening.
