Listless Monday: Medical Dystopia Edition

Listless Monday was inspired by both Amanda at A Bookshelf Monstrosity's feature Books by Theme and Court at Once Upon a Bookshelf's Listed feature. Be sure to check out their lists!

I am decidedly a fan of dystopian and futuristic books and I've noticed I really like those books that look at the future of medicine.  So here's a list today of some medical dystopian literature - those books with some kind of uniquely medical spin on the future, whether it's advanced procedures or a method of control, a deadly illness or a "cure" of some kind.

Medical Dystopia

Above by Leah Bobet
Beta by Rachel Cohn
Birthmarked trilogy by Caragh M. O'Brien
Chemical Garden trilogy by Lauren DeStefano
The Death Cure by James Dashner
The Declaration by Gemma Malley
Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver
The Gardener by S.A. Bodeen
The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer
Jenna Fox Chronicles by Mary Pearson
Memento Nora by Angie Smibert
Origin by Jessica Khoury (suggested by Susan)
Partials by Dan Wells (suggested by Susan)
Starters by Lissa Price
