You know how people are always coming up with excuses for why they haven't been blogging as regularly? I know I do. Life happens, work's busy, etc. Well, here's my current excuse:

Enjoy the obligatory creepy ultrasound image that no one but parents and grandparents really care about. |
She's making her debut in June. Most of you don't know this, but my husband and I have been trying for kids for a looooong time. And we'd begun working on the adoption process. So, needless to say, this little miracle was a big, welcome surprise. I've been trying to keep up on my blogging, but some days, I just don't have the energy. :) Thanks for being patient and for sticking around!

ReplyDeleteYay!!! Congratulations!!!! :D There's no better excuse for not blogging than a pregnancy. I'm so excited for y'all!
ReplyDeleteyay! I hope you are feeling ok.
ReplyDeleteI have been feeling pretty good, actually! I think I got lucky, because I never threw up. *knock on wood*

ReplyDeleteSo excited! Good luck with all and enjoy the ride!
ReplyDeleteOh congrats! So happy for you!!
ReplyDeleteHaving family members in the same boat as you are (were) -- your story brought tears to my eyes. Congrats and best wishes!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Annette - seeing people in the same boat and people who have little miracles of their own really lifted my spirits :)
DeleteCongratulations! I'm so happy for you. We tried for years to get pregnant with my son, so I'm a little familiar of what you went through. For me, it was one of the hardest trials of my life. I'm sure almost everyone handles it better than me. Luckily, we didn't need to do any fertility treatment. Good luck and best wishes! I'll be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteIt has certainly been one of the hardest things we've done - and I am quite sure I didn't handle it all that well either :) I'm not great at being one of those positive people! Thanks for your congrats!
DeleteWhat amazing news! Best wishes and congrats on this new adventure!
ReplyDeleteHappy news!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Melissa! I'm so happy for you and your husband.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Omigosh! How exciting. Aim for the 10th of June. Great day to be born. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteI'll do my best, though I'm not due until June 28th, so it might be a stretch :)
DeleteI like how your title makes it sound like it's no big deal ... are you running through lists of names every night or are you pretty much settled?
ReplyDeleteI kinda like a low-key intro to my pregnant state :) We had a short list before, but it's grown a LOT over the last few days. I'm pretty sure we want to see our baby before we decide 100%.
DeleteCongrats!!! That's so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - what wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your kind congrats! It's nice to have friends, even virtual ones, who are so happy for us!
ReplyDeleteThis makes my heart so happy! Congratulations! My husband and I also tried for about seven years before being blessed in the baby department. It can be a heartbreaking journey -- I'm so glad yours has a happy ending!
ReplyDeleteThanks - I always love hearing about other peoples' miracles!
Deletecongratulations!!

ReplyDeleteHow exciting!!!! Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! Maybe I'm the only one, but I think the ultrasound picture is so cute! I can see the face :) Of course the movie is much better. I had no idea with my first son that ultrasounds were movies and I thought it was the cutest thing ever to see him move.
ReplyDeleteIt really is so fun to see them wiggle around and kick! Definitely something I won't forget any time soon :)
DeleteI'm overwhelmed with delight for you, Melissa! What a wonderful adventure you're embarking on. Just think of the books you're going to get to read to her. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so excited about the reading possibilities :)
DeleteA huge congratulations to the both of you! And best luck for a very healthy pregnancy and birth. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I'm due in June too. We're over halfway done! Our babies will be here so soon!
