And, unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the monthly giveaway this month, because I just don't have the time and money to get it out. In fact, I haven't sent Elaine's prize from last month. :( But, I am hoping next month to be back in the swing of things.
Now's the time to grab that book you've been putting off to read for this challenge - don't hesitate, just do it. That was my pep talk for the month. Enjoy :)
Retelling question of the month: what kinds of stuff would you like to see happen during a retelling celebration week?
If you buy through my Amazon linkage, I will get a very small percentage
I really need to get reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, so I can finish the second half of this challenge!
ReplyDeleteAs far as your retelling week, I think guest posts of people talking about their favorite retellings would be cool. I also think a game of sorts where you guess what the original story was would be fun.
Ooh, a game...I'll have to think about that one. Thanks for your suggestions!
DeleteI'm just now figuring out that that image is a hamburger between two books. Which shouldve been obvious, but I kept thinking of a giant cookie for the longest time ... Guess you know what I feel like eating ...
ReplyDeleteMmm, a giant cookie sounds really good to me too. The hamburger, I don't know why it bothers me so much.
DeleteI was hoping to finish my 2nd book in September, but it didn't happen :-( so now I'm hoping October will work better (my 2nd book being To Kill a Mockingbird). As for the week-long celebration, I don't have any suggestions at the moment, but I'm definitely looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping for October! I hope the celebration ends up being fun.
