Classic Double Challenge: November

Guys!  There are only two months left!  What was I thinking, saying I'd do four pairs?!?  I've got to get on the ball - it would be embarrassing to fail my own challenge.

But, how are things going for all of you?  Not going to make it?  That's ok, because the Classic Double Challenge is coming back again next year.  And I've got an excellent week-long celebration in the works for January.  It will be so much fun with author and blogger guest posts and some giveaways.  But, don't give up on 2012 yet!  You can still do it.  Remember to leave your links for this month if you review/talk about your book pairs.

The winner for this month is Akilah!  I'll send you an email soon and then get a prize sent out to you ASAP.

Question(s) of the month:
Do you think you'll finish the challenge this year?  How likely are you to participate next year?

If you buy through my Amazon linkage, I will get a very small percentage

  1. I'm really hoping I will, but I'm not sure at this point. A lot of my reading goals have struggled this year.

I'll participate next year, though. It helps keep me on track of read at least 2 classics a year.

  2. HECK YES I will. Re-tellings are one of my favorite things to read. If this challenge doesn't come back next year I think I'll cry.

  3. I don't know if I'll finish. I signed up for four pairs of related books. Why didn't I just sign up for one? Or two? I have got to stop being an overachiever.

    1. No need to finish! Just get what you can done :) I feel the same way about overachieving, I do it all the time. Did you get my email?

  4. So....yeah. I was going to read When She Woke and The Scarlet Letter for this challenge but so far I've only read When She Woke. I can't get into The Scarlet Letter! Argh! I'm not giving up yet but I have a back up plan if I do. ;)

    1. Back up plans are good too. I really enjoyed Scarlet Letter, but it can be a tough one to jump into.

  5. I just finished mine, but I only read one pair. I loved this challenge and I would definitely do it again if you host it next year!

    1. Yeah! Way to go, Sarah. One pair is good enough for me! Hope to see you back next year.
