It wasn't too sappy, though, which is a good thing.

Kate, I haven't read any Dessen yet (which is sad, I'll admit). But, I agree that sometimes you have to have a nice sappy book. And I'd say women are the only one's who would admit to appreciating sappiness :)melissa @ 1lbrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292714636311546457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-12328144334015106242010-03-30T22:21:10.730-07:002010-03-30T22:21:10.730-07:00I have to say, I'm a sucker for Sarah Dessen, ...I have to say, I'm a sucker for Sarah Dessen, and I'm afraid her books are a little sappy. Sometimes I'm in the mood for that happily girly sigh at the end of a book! Which brings up another question--are women the only ones who appreciate some sappiness on occasion?Kate Coombshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10138566291199003171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-8027534345727489462010-03-30T14:18:23.911-07:002010-03-30T14:18:23.911-07:00I actually heard about this book from a 12 year ol...I actually heard about this book from a 12 year old who really liked it. I suppose perhaps it's a slightly girly book with the sap factor. I also loved the astronomy facet of the story.A Bookshelf Monstrosityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14674115889348650429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-58731197038640255762010-03-30T13:27:11.678-07:002010-03-30T13:27:11.678-07:00Yeah, I didn't think I liked sap much, but som...Yeah, I didn't think I liked sap much, but sometimes I just need to wallow in it. :)melissa @ 1lbrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292714636311546457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-3038611299637162422010-03-30T13:04:44.353-07:002010-03-30T13:04:44.353-07:00Sometimes I'll like a sappy book-but it has to...Sometimes I'll like a sappy book-but it has to be very light in the sap. Although, the ending of Perfect Chemisty was pretty sappy and I liked that (although I did kind of roll my eyes at the same time). Normally I really hate sap though.

I haven't read this one yet, but I've read other books by Wendy Mass and really enjoyed them.GreenBeanTeenQueenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08708155058381407531noreply@blogger.com
