Book Review: Ever by Gail Carson Levine

Everis the story of Kezi, a mortal girl in a world steeped in superstitions and mythological gods. She and Olus, god the of wind, have the misfortune of falling in love. While she only has so much time on earth, thanks to her heroic actions, they must find a way to evade that destiny and to be together forever.

This was a fun little story with cute premise, but fell rather short of Levine's other excellent fairy-tale stories. I found some of the actions dull and even hard to follow. The most important parts, to me, seemed less important in the story. It was strange and even convoluted, despite its short length. Definitely not her best.
