I just wish she'd had a non-extreme character. It was nice to see them both question what was normal for them, though. I'll have to read some spoilery reviews of the next one, cause I probably won't pick it up myself :)melissa @ 1lbrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292714636311546457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-2898260700704933772011-06-10T20:38:10.448-07:002011-06-10T20:38:10.448-07:00I read Bumped back in April and just finished With...I read Bumped back in April and just finished Wither today. I also thought about the connection between the two. I enjoyed Bumped, although I can see how it would not be for everyone since it is difficult. As far as you not liking the way the religious characters were portrayed, I think it is important to keep in mind that there were characters that both represented extremes to both of the "worlds". The twins seemed to question the norms and I am wondering how this will continue to play out in the next novel.Amanda Villagómezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02119297811490732509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-23921666416040421012011-06-02T09:03:16.306-07:002011-06-02T09:03:16.306-07:00reviewsbylola, I think I might be in the minority ...reviewsbylola, I think I might be in the minority on it. There were definitely some parts I liked, though.

Ashley, the absurdity was part of what I liked too. I'm glad so many enjoyed it, though :)melissa @ 1lbrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292714636311546457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-23645789995306795792011-06-01T20:58:02.925-07:002011-06-01T20:58:02.925-07:00I actually quite liked this one. It was a bit odd and I totally understand why you didn't like it (especially the religion thing - that was the one part that bugged me), but I kind of liked it for its absurdity.Ashley @ Book Labyrinthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02395484656811182553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5537602474198205550.post-50830984320029453012011-06-01T13:29:26.620-07:002011-06-01T13:29:26.620-07:00Sorry this one wasn't enjoyable for you.
